Qualifications & Experience:
- Current registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
- Prior experience in clinical MRI imaging settings
- Proficient knowledge of MRI safety, procedures, and equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
- Valid BLS certification
- Flexibility and adaptability in a travel/work assignment
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and department protocols
- Accurately position patients for imaging and ensure patient comfort and safety
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care
- Carefully evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic quality
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment and troubleshoot minor issues
- Document procedures and maintain patient records in compliance with HIPAA and facility standards
