This opportunity offers exposure to a high-acuity environment, caring for a steady patient flow (averaging 40 patients/day with 6-7 studies per tech), including complex neuro cases, spine and head trauma, as well as dedicated support for student athletes. Enhance your resume by mastering state-of-the-art equipment, such as Siemens Vida 3T and GE Signa HDxt 1.5T scanners, while collaborating with radiologists and tech assistants who are committed to both patient care and your ongoing learning.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Weekend rotation as needed
  • No on-call requirements
  • Holiday hours based on department demands

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year acute MRI experience (first-time travelers welcome)
  • BLS, ARRT (MR) or AMRIT certification; KY license required (unless grandfathered)
  • Strong background in neuro imaging, trauma, and inpatient MRI
  • Positive attitude and exceptional patient care skills
  • Experience with Cerner EMR and preference for team players open to working solo at times

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans for a range of neuro, trauma, and student athlete cases
  • Ensure optimal patient safety and comfort during imaging
  • Communicate clearly with multidisciplinary team and adapt to evolving cases
  • Maintain detailed records using Cerner EMR
  • Adhere to hospital policies, including scrub color in Ceil Blue
