Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI scans across multiple specialties including cardiac, neuro, musculoskeletal, body, functional, and specialty exams.
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of experienced technologists and healthcare professionals in a fast-paced Level II trauma center.
- Manage imaging for a patient mix including outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department cases, some requiring complex care such as ventilated or sedated patients.
- Utilize advanced equipment such as GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera and Magentom Skyra scanners, while maintaining precise documentation in EPIC and McKesson PACS.
- Adhere to clinic protocols and safety measures including handling patients with implantable devices.
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- 3-5 years of MRI technologist experience, ideally including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and musculoskeletal imaging.
- Proficiency with both GE and Siemens MRI systems is required.
- Current ARRT-MR or ARMRIT certification and BLS certification.
- Experience working with diverse patient types, including critical care and specialty imaging procedures.
- Ability to respond promptly to on-call requests with a 30-minute response time on scheduled weekends.
- Comfortable working in a team-supported environment with Lead Tech and Imaging Assistants readily available.
Schedule/Hours:
- Weekend rotation approximately every third weekend.
- On-call shifts Saturday and Sunday nights (21000630) and daytime backup shifts (06302100).
- Three-day orientation period.
- Holiday coverage based on unit needs.
