Schedule/Hours:

• 2 x 12-hour shifts
• 2 x 8-hour shifts
• Includes weekend and call rotation
• Flexibility to support departmental needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a wide range of MRI procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation
• Prepare and instruct patients, minimizing anxiety and ensuring safety throughout
• Select, operate, and maintain MRI systems, coils, and associated equipment
• Position and immobilize patients appropriately, selecting sequences based on established protocols
• Perform venipuncture and administer contrast media safely
• Participate in interventional procedures, following aseptic technique and universal precautions
• Evaluate images for technical quality, manipulate digital data, and archive results within radiology systems (including PACS)
• Provide mentorship and practical instruction to colleagues and students

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program (verification required)
• Experience as an MRI Technologist
• ARRT Radiography registration & ARRT MRI registration (required)
• Active BLS certification
