Qualifications & Experience:
- Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
- Minimum of one year of recent MRI imaging experience preferred
- Proficient in operating MRI equipment and ensuring patient safety
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Ability to adapt quickly to new technology and fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI exams according to physician orders and department protocols
- Prepare and position patients for scans, providing reassurance and clear instructions
- Maintain safe and welcoming exam environments, adhering to all safety and privacy standards
- Collaborate with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely, accurate results
- Perform equipment checks, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and log imaging data accurately
