Qualifications and Experience:

  • Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Current licensure (where applicable)
  • Proven proficiency operating MRI equipment and software
  • Thorough knowledge of imaging protocols and safety procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
  • Experience in a fast-paced healthcare or hospital environment preferred
  • Comfortable working with diverse patient populations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners to produce high-resolution images for diagnostic purposes
  • Assess, prepare, and position patients for a safe and comfortable imaging experience
  • Review imaging orders and verify patient information to ensure accuracy
  • Monitor patients during procedures and provide clear instructions for optimal results
  • Follow rigorous safety and infection control protocols at all times
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain detailed records and document completed procedures within the electronic health record system
  • Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine quality assurance checks
