Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
Qualifications:
- Active certification or registry as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MR or equivalent)
- Minimum of one year experience in MRI imaging, demonstrating proficiency in both clinical workflow and patient care
- Current BLS certification
- Skilled in operating MRI scanners and related imaging equipment
- Outstanding attention to detail with strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Commitment to patient safety protocols and accurate recordkeeping
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct high-quality MRI scans as ordered by radiologists, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process
- Prepare imaging equipment and rooms, performing routine quality assurance checks to maintain optimal performance
- Obtain and assess patient histories, explaining procedures clearly and addressing questions
- Monitor patients during scans for safety, providing immediate response if needed
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic results
- Adhere to facility guidelines regarding infection control, HIPAA, and radiological safety standards
- Maintain organized records and contribute to efficient department workflow
