Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 1-2 years hospital MRI technologist experience required
- Proven proficiency with Phillips Achieva MRI scanners is preferred
- Familiarity with Siemens 1.5 T Sola, Cerner, Unity PACS, and Inteview PACS
- ARMRIT certification or ARRT (MR) certification and current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year travel experience in MRI imaging
- Prior experience scanning patients with implanted devices
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform MRI scans adhering to high standards of safety and imaging quality
- Operate MRI equipment including Phillips Achieva and Siemens systems
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient diagnostic imaging needs
- Float between Bell and Cambridge locations as required
- Participate in weekend night shifts (Friday to Sunday, 6:30 PM7:00 AM), with flexible scheduling based on candidate availability
- Attend a two-day orientation in the first week of assignment
Schedule and Hours:
- 12-hour shifts on weekend nights
- Shift times: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday
- Manager flexibility on schedule to accommodate availability
This contractor role offers the chance to work in a nicotine-free facility with supportive administrative policies. Enjoy bi-weekly pay and structured orientation to ensure smooth integration into the team. There is no on-call requirement, though availability for optional call shifts is welcomed.
