This contract position specializes in MRI technology, utilizing advanced imaging equipment and techniques to support patient care and assist clinical colleagues in making accurate diagnoses.
Schedule:
- Second Shift: Monday to Thursday, 1:00 pm 11:00 pm
Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program
- Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
- Previous experience as an MRI Technologist highly preferred
- Thorough understanding of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
- Strong attention to detail and skilled in handling complex imaging equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment for diagnostic examinations according to physician instructions
- Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and addressing questions or concerns
- Verify patient identity and review medical histories prior to imaging
- Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond to any needs or changes in condition
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to obtain optimal images
- Maintain accurate imaging records, patient documentation, and equipment logs
- Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control standards
