This contract position specializes in MRI technology, utilizing advanced imaging equipment and techniques to support patient care and assist clinical colleagues in making accurate diagnoses.

Schedule:

• Second Shift: Monday to Thursday, 1:00 pm 11:00 pm

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program
• Current ARRT (MRI) certification required
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist highly preferred
• Thorough understanding of MRI safety protocols and imaging procedures
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to provide compassionate patient care
• Strong attention to detail and skilled in handling complex imaging equipment

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners and related imaging equipment for diagnostic examinations according to physician instructions
• Explain procedures to patients, ensuring comfort and addressing questions or concerns
• Verify patient identity and review medical histories prior to imaging
• Monitor patients throughout procedures and respond to any needs or changes in condition
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to obtain optimal images
• Maintain accurate imaging records, patient documentation, and equipment logs
• Adhere to all health, safety, and infection control standards
