Job Description
Advance your career as an experienced MRI Technologist working within a dynamic clinic setting that supports both inpatient and outpatient care. This contract position offers the opportunity to perform high-quality imaging services under the guidance of a radiologist, utilizing state-of-the-art Siemens technology and EPIC systems.
Schedule/Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 1:00 pm 9:00 pm (5x8s evening shifts)
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience as an MRI Technologist
- Certification required: BLS (AHA only), MRT, ARRT-MR
- Experience with Siemens MRI equipment and Epic preferred
- Proficient in MRI procedures and patient care communications
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Adaptability to serve a diverse patient population (inpatient and outpatient)
- Scrubs in any color permitted (no inappropriate prints; scrubs must be purchased)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform quality MRI scans in accordance with established protocols
- Prepare patients and equipment for imaging procedures
- Effectively communicate procedure details to patients and families
- Prioritize patient safety and uphold infection-control standards
- Maintain equipment and work areas to ensure operational readiness
- Accurately manage and update medical imaging documentation
- Train and mentor new team members on imaging services and protocols
- Respond calmly and appropriately in urgent situations and provide first aid if required
- Participate as needed in call rotations
This is a 13-week contract role with virtual interviews and the potential for travel. Contribute your expertise in a fast-paced medical environment, and ensure patient care remains at the forefront of every diagnostic procedure.
