Key Qualifications:

  • ARRT (MRI) certification or equivalent required
  • Active and unrestricted state licensure
  • Minimum of one year experience performing MRI imaging in a hospital or clinic setting
  • Familiarity with operating advanced MRI equipment and digital imaging systems
  • Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient positioning guidelines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff

Responsibilities:

  • Safely and accurately operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images according to physician orders
  • Review patient histories and ensure proper screening for contraindications before imaging procedures
  • Explain MRI procedures to patients, alleviating concerns and ensuring comfort throughout the process
  • Monitor patient condition and provide support as needed during imaging sessions
  • Maintain accurate records and complete all documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
  • Assist with equipment maintenance and report any technical issues promptly to supervisory staff
  • Adhere strictly to infection control, patient privacy, and department protocols at all times
