Job Description

Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract position in a supportive clinical environment. This opportunity focuses on providing exceptional imaging services while working with advanced MRI equipment alongside a collaborative medical team.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour day shifts per week

Qualifications:

  • Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI) or equivalent
  • At least one year of recent experience performing MRI procedures
  • Proficiency in operating MRI imaging equipment and maintaining patient safety protocols
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with patients and healthcare professionals effectively
  • Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI examinations following established protocols and physician instructions
  • Consistently prioritize patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the imaging process
  • Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques based on clinical indications
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation of all imaging procedures conducted
  • Inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure it remains in optimal working condition
  • Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians to address diagnostic needs and ensure timely delivery of results
