Job Description
Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract position in a supportive clinical environment. This opportunity focuses on providing exceptional imaging services while working with advanced MRI equipment alongside a collaborative medical team.
Schedule:
- Three 12-hour day shifts per week
Qualifications:
- Current certification and registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI) or equivalent
- At least one year of recent experience performing MRI procedures
- Proficiency in operating MRI imaging equipment and maintaining patient safety protocols
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with patients and healthcare professionals effectively
- Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations following established protocols and physician instructions
- Consistently prioritize patient safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the imaging process
- Accurately position patients and select appropriate imaging techniques based on clinical indications
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all imaging procedures conducted
- Inspect, calibrate, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure it remains in optimal working condition
- Collaborate with radiologists and referring clinicians to address diagnostic needs and ensure timely delivery of results
