Job Description

Schedule:

  • Second Shift
  • Monday to Thursday, 1pm11pm

Qualifications:

  • Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent required)
  • At least one year of experience operating MRI scanners in a clinical setting
  • Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and contrast administration
  • Strong patient communication and care skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within an imaging team
  • Current BLS certification

Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders, ensuring clarity and accuracy in imaging
  • Properly position patients and operate MRI equipment in accordance with established protocols
  • Monitor patient well-being during procedures, responding to their comfort and safety needs
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare staff to deliver timely imaging results
  • Maintain accurate patient and procedure records using hospital EMR systems
  • Adhere to all infection control and safety standards within the imaging department
  • Participate in continuing education and training sessions as required
