Job Description

As an MRI Technologist, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging equipment to produce detailed images that assist medical teams in making accurate diagnoses. Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position offering structured scheduling

Qualifications:

  • Registered MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 1 year experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical environment
  • Proven knowledge in imaging protocols and patient positioning
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • BLS Certification required

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and calibrate MRI equipment according to established protocols
  • Produce high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation by radiologists
  • Properly screen patients and explain procedures to ensure safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare personnel for optimal workflow
  • Maintain accurate patient records and process images following departmental guidelines
  • Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly
  • Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times
