Key Qualifications:

• Certification by ARRT (MR) or equivalent MRI technologist credential.
• Demonstrated experience in operating MRI equipment and related imaging software.
• Thorough understanding of MRI safety protocols and procedures.
• Knowledge of proper patient positioning and comfort during scans.
• Ability to work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Current BLS certification.

Schedule:

• Contract position with defined start and end dates.
• Work schedule and hours will be discussed during the interview process.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Ensure patient safety by following all imaging guidelines and precautions.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and reassurance.
• Monitor scanner performance and maintain cleanliness and readiness of equipment.
• Review images for clarity and completeness before releasing for interpretation.
• Document relevant patient and procedure information accurately in the electronic medical record system.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nursing, and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
