Qualifications:

  • Current certification in MRI (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Previous experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of safety standards and best practices related to MRI imaging
  • Strong communication abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and multitask in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate MRI scanners to obtain high-quality diagnostic images for interpretation
  • Prepare and position patients, ensuring comfort and compliance with safety protocols
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to review imaging requirements
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
  • Troubleshoot and report any issues with MRI equipment to the appropriate personnel
  • Uphold infection control and patient privacy standards
  • Educate patients about MRI procedures and answer any questions they may have
