Job Description
A professional MRI Technologist opportunity is available in Harvest, AL, on a contract basis with an immediate start. Ideal candidates will have 2-3 years of MRI experience, hold ARRT (R) and (MR) registrations, and live more than 50 miles from the facility. This role involves performing advanced MRI imaging studies for both inpatient and outpatient services, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images under the guidance of a Radiologist.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI scans of soft tissue, arterial systems, brain, spine, joints, and extremities with or without contrast media
- Adjust imaging parameters to optimize image quality based on the study requirements
- Follow department protocols and direction provided by Radiologists
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of imaging services for both inpatients and outpatients
Qualifications / Desired Experience:
- 2-3 years of MRI Technologist experience required
- ARRT (R) and ARRT (MR) registrations mandatory
- Graduation from an accredited AMA MRI program is preferred but not required
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging Registry (MR) through ARRT preferred
- Valid State Radiographer License is a plus
- Must reside 50+ miles from the facility
Schedule / Hours:
- Tuesday through Thursday: 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
