Step into a key role in a busy clinic setting, where your expertise in MRI technology will make an immediate impact for both inpatient and outpatient populations. This contract position offers you the chance to work afternoons in a supportive environment and be part of a dedicated imaging team delivering high-quality patient care.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 1:00pm 9:00pm (5x8 hour shifts)
- 13-week assignment
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of MRI experience required
- Experience with Siemens equipment and Epic EMR strongly preferred
- Valid and current BLS certification (AHA only)
- MRT and ARRT (MR) credentials required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI procedures in accordance with exam protocols and physician orders
- Ensure proper patient identification and instructions before, during, and after procedures
- Screen all individuals entering the MRI department per current policies
- Maintain imaging equipment and cleanliness of the work area, collaborating with engineers as needed
- Practice strict infection control, safety, and radiation guidelines
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely maintenance of patient records in compliance with policy
- Provide excellent patient communication and strive for a positive experience
- Support department operations by maintaining proper inventory of supplies
