Qualifications & Experience:

• Current certification in MRI technology (ARRT(MR) or equivalent required)
• Valid state licensure as an MRI technologist
• Previous experience operating MRI equipment in a clinical or hospital setting
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI protocols
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate MRI scanners and related equipment for diagnostic imaging procedures
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
• Review and verify physicians orders to determine appropriate imaging protocols
• Properly position patients and use immobilization equipment as needed for optimal image quality
• Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures in compliance with facility protocols
• Assist radiologists in image interpretation and reporting as requested
• Adhere to all infection control, safety, and radiation protection guidelines
