Qualifications:
- ARRT (MRI) certification or registry-eligible
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program
- Minimum of one year of recent MRI experience strongly preferred
- Proficient with MRI scanners and associated imaging software
- Current BLS certification required
- Strong attention to detail and patient care focus
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to protocols and best practices
- Position patients for accurate imaging, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the process
- Explain procedures and address patient questions or concerns
- Monitor images for quality and adjust techniques as necessary for optimal results
- Accurately document and report findings to radiologists and referring providers
- Maintain and calibrate equipment according to manufacturer guidelines
- Adhere to safety and infection control procedures
