Job Description
This opportunity is for an experienced MRI Technologist to support a high-acuity imaging department in Gastonia, NC. The role requires confidence in clinical skills for a fast-paced environment, working with both adult and pediatric patients from various hospital units including emergency and intensive care. You will operate advanced Siemens 1.5T MRI equipment and utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system to deliver excellent diagnostic imaging services.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- ARRT(R) or NMTCB certification, plus ARRT(MR) or ARMRI credentials
- Valid BLS certification required; ACLS preferred but not mandatory
- Minimum of 1 year MRI technologist experience; first-time travelers welcome
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, helpful attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-focused department

Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures on adult and pediatric patients using Siemens 1.5T magnets
- Work within a diverse team including lead techs and imaging supervisors
- Support a 24/7 operation with shifts scheduled according to contract (first, second, third shift or weekends)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in call rotations and holiday coverage as needed
