Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI procedures following safety protocols and physician instructions
- Prepare and position patients for imaging studies, ensuring comfort and clarity
- Operate and troubleshoot MRI equipment, maintaining optimal image quality
- Accurately document patient information and exam details in electronic medical records
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient safety throughout the imaging process, adhering to all regulatory guidelines
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow infection prevention protocols
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current registration as an MRI Technologist (ARRT MRI or equivalent)
- Minimum of 1 year of clinical MRI imaging experience preferred
- In-depth understanding of MRI safety standards, anatomy, and imaging protocols
- Excellent patient interaction and communication skills
- Proficiency with MRI equipment and digital imaging systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage workflows efficiently, and adapt to changing demands
