Job Description

A healthcare facility in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a skilled multi-modality imaging technologist with expertise in MRI, CT, and X-Ray to join their team on a contract basis. This opportunity offers the chance to work with leading imaging technology, including GE 360 1.5T MRI and GE 660 128-slice CT scanners, as well as portable units from GE and Shimadzu.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI procedures on advanced MRI equipment.
  • Conduct CT scans and X-Ray imaging with attention to patient safety and image accuracy.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment according to protocols.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to ensure timely patient care.
  • Adhere to all regulatory and licensing requirements specific to Texas.

Qualifications:

  • Valid CT Technologist Texas license is required (please note a turnaround time of approximately 4 months for processing if not in hand).
  • Registry certified in MRI, CT, and X-Ray modalities.
  • Proven experience operating GE and Shimadzu imaging equipment.
  • Strong understanding of imaging protocols and patient safety guidelines.
  • Flexibility to work shifts including potential day and evening rotations.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Mid-shift, Monday through Friday
  • 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts (13:30 - 22:00)
  • Potential to alternate between day and evening shifts as needed
