Job Description

Advance your imaging career by supporting a dedicated healthcare team as an MRI Technologist. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work in a modern environment using the latest MRI technology, collaborating with experienced professionals to deliver exceptional patient care.

Schedule:

  • Second shift
  • Monday to Thursday, 1pm11pm

Qualifications:

  • Certified and registered as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR)
  • Proficiency in performing MRI imaging procedures independently
  • Demonstrated ability to work with MRI scanners and associated imaging equipment
  • Strong knowledge of safety protocols and best practices relating to MRI services
  • Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction and team collaboration
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct high-quality MRI scans based on physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Educate and prepare patients for imaging procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring safety throughout
  • Operate and maintain complex MRI equipment with attention to diagnostic accuracy and equipment integrity
  • Adhere to infection control standards and safeguard patient confidentiality at all times
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, providers, and fellow technologists to optimize workflow and enhance patient care
  • Maintain organized documentation and accurate image records in the hospitals systems
