A rewarding opportunity for an experienced MRI Technologist is available in East Peoria, IL, within a large Level 1 trauma center. This role focuses on delivering high-quality diagnostic images using state-of-the-art MRI technology, supporting Radiologist interpretations for a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate GE Signa Artist (1.5T) and GE Signa Architect (3T) MRI units to produce detailed images.
- Navigate EPIC Charting and McKesson PACS systems efficiently for accurate patient records and imaging data management.
- Provide compassionate patient care, including positioning and preparing patients for MRI procedures.
- Execute imaging protocols across Neuro, Body, and Musculoskeletal specialties, including routine and complex cases.
- Scan patients under various conditions, including sedation and anesthesia, ensuring safety and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Conduct assessments and safely image patients with implants such as pacemakers, stimulators, and aneurysm clips.
- Maintain adherence to safety and quality regulations within a busy 650+ bed hospital setting with 5 MRI magnets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Certification by ARRT or ARMRIT required.
- Current BLS certification mandatory.
- Ability to work independently during scheduled shifts.
- Flexibility to work first shift (7:00 AM7:30 PM) or third shift (7:00 PM7:30 AM); no weekend or on-call duties.
- Local candidates within a 50-mile radius considered under adjusted rate terms.
