Job Description

An excellent opportunity awaits individuals skilled in MRI imaging as an MRI Technologist. This contract role calls for a professional who thrives in a clinical setting, utilizing diagnostic technology to support patient care and physician collaboration.

Schedule:

  • Second Shift
  • Monday to Thursday
  • 1:00 PM to 11:00 PM

Qualifications:

  • Certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR or equivalent)
  • Proven experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare environment
  • Knowledge of imaging safety protocols, including screening for contraindications
  • Strong interpersonal skills for compassionate patient care and teamwork
  • Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and maintain attention to detail
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for MRI scans according to physician instructions and imaging protocols
  • Operate MRI equipment safely, ensuring high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety
  • Accurately document patient information and maintain thorough records of imaging procedures
  • Monitor patients throughout the process, responding promptly to questions or medical needs
  • Adhere to infection control standards and facility procedures
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other clinical staff to ensure timely delivery of results
