As a travel MRI Technologist, you will gain valuable exposure to cutting-edge imaging practices and leadership styles, enhancing your clinical skills and strengthening your resume. Working Friday through Sunday (NOC shift: 7:00 pm to 7:00 am) in a progressive healthcare environment promises to enrich your skill set while supporting your career ambitions in imaging.
Schedule/Hours
- 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (FridaySunday)
- 7:00 pm 7:00 am (NOC shift)
Qualifications
- Valid Texas MRT license
- ARRT (MR) certification
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Minimum 2 years MRI experience
- Demonstrated proficiency with GE equipment preferred
- Ability to work independently with confidence
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality MRI scans per prescribed protocols
- Prioritize safety, infection control, and patient comfort at all times
- Accurately position patients and operate equipment for optimum results
- Effectively communicate to reassure and inform patients and their families
- Maintain detailed and accurate imaging records
- Uphold cleanliness and functionality of work area and equipment
- Assist with training new staff and support department initiatives
- Ensure documentation and compliance with all department policies
