Job Description

An opportunity is available for an experienced MRI Imaging professional to provide critical support within a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position requires expertise in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to assist in delivering high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current certification or registry in MRI (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Proven experience operating MRI equipment and related technology
  • Strong knowledge of imaging safety protocols, including safe use of magnets
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and image archiving
  • Excellent patient communication and care skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI examinations according to established clinical protocols and physician orders
  • Review patient histories, explain procedures, and provide reassurance to ensure comfort and compliance
  • Properly position patients and select appropriate imaging parameters for highest quality results
  • Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment, reporting malfunctions or safety concerns promptly
  • Accurately document procedures and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
  • Collaborate effectively with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare staff
  • Comply with all facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory guidelines
