Qualifications:
- Certification in MRI Technology (such as ARRT or equivalent)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program
- Previous experience as an MRI Technologist strongly preferred
- Familiarity with MRI safety regulations and protocols
- Strong attention to detail and technical aptitude
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Operate MRI scanners in accordance with established protocols and physician orders
- Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
- Monitor patients during scans for any signs of distress or reaction
- Review imaging for quality and completeness before submitting to radiologists
- Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures
- Adhere to all infection control, privacy, and safety standards
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment as needed
