A healthcare role is available for an experienced MRI Technologist to perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures under the guidance of a Radiologist. This contract position, based in Grapevine, TX, requires a minimum of one year of acute care hospital experience and proficiency in trauma, stroke, and anesthesia imaging modalities.
Key responsibilities include delivering high-quality MRI exams in line with established protocols, preparing and positioning patients for procedures, maintaining equipment, adhering to safety and infection control standards, and ensuring accurate documentation of imaging records. Clear communication with patients and families, demonstrating empathy and professionalism, is essential.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- MRT certification with ARRT (MR) credentials
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA only)
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting
- Skilled in trauma, stroke, and anesthesia-related imaging procedures
- Ability to perform MRI exams autonomously and maintain patient comfort
Schedule & Location:
- Grapevine, TX
- Shift Hours: Monday & Wednesday 1:00 PM 11:00 PM; Thursday & Friday 10:00 AM 8:00 PM
- 4x10-hour shifts per week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks with potential for extension or temp-to-perm transition
- Phone/virtual interview process
- Position requires relocation or willingness to travel
In this role, you will support patient diagnosis and treatment through precise imaging procedures while working with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Youll contribute to patient safety and comfort while adhering to rigorous standards.
