Step into a vital role as an MRI technologist specializing in imaging for a leading healthcare facility serving the Clark, CO region. This summer contract assignment presents a unique opportunity to make an impact, providing essential diagnostic services alongside a collaborative and dedicated healthcare team.
Schedule/Hours:
- 3 days per week: Wednesday through Friday
- No on-call or weekend shifts
- 12-hour day shifts
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current ARRT (MR) certification or equivalent MRI technologist credentials
- Demonstrated proficiency with MRI imaging equipment and protocols
- At least one year of experience as an MRI Tech in a clinical or hospital setting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in image acquisition
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients and team members
- Ability to maintain safety and infection control standards at all times
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and optimal image capture
- Operate advanced imaging equipment, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and monitor image quality
- Explain procedures and address patient concerns, providing compassionate care throughout
- Collaborate with radiologists, referring physicians, and clinical staff to achieve diagnostic objectives
- Maintain clear, accurate documentation and follow organizational policies and safety procedures
