Job Description
Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic imaging environment as a skilled MRI Technologist for a contract assignment. This role emphasizes both advanced technical ability and compassionate patient interaction, ensuring the highest standards in diagnostic imaging.
Schedule:
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT(MR) or equivalent)
- Proven experience working in MRI imaging within a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of MRI safety protocols and radiology best practices
- Ability to accurately position patients and operate MRI equipment independently
- Exceptional communication skills for both patient care and collaboration with clinical staff
- Attention to detail in capturing quality images and maintaining clear patient records
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans in accordance with physician orders, ensuring clarity and diagnostic value
- Prepare and verify patient information, offering guidance and support throughout the imaging process
- Calibrate, operate, and monitor MRI equipment for optimal performance and safety
- Observe infection control and patient confidentiality standards at all times
- Communicate promptly with radiologists and medical staff regarding imaging results or concerns
- Maintain accurate documentation, patient logs, and imaging reports
