This opportunity is perfectly suited for an experienced MRI Technologist ready to contribute clinical expertise in a dynamic, high-acuity environment. The role is based in a vibrant medical community with advanced imaging technology, including Siemens 1.5T magnets, supporting a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to adults seen in emergency, ICU, and outpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI procedures efficiently and with high clinical acumen, ensuring quality imaging and patient safety.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to manage a steady patient flow averaging 40-45 daily.
  • Communicate clearly with patients and departments to facilitate seamless imaging services.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and holiday coverage per contract requirements, supporting continuous patient care.
  • Adhere to departmental protocols and policies while maintaining a positive, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • ARRT (R), NMTCB, ARRT (MR), or ARMRI certification required.
  • BLS certification necessary; ACLS preferred but not mandatory.
  • Minimum of 1 year of MRI clinical experience.
  • Strong ability to work confidently under pressure in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Scheduling and Contract Details:

  • Contract position with a 13-week duration.
  • Shift flexibility to fill first, second, third shifts, or weekends as needed; shifts remain consistent throughout the contract.
  • No rotation between weekends and weekdays.
  • Call duties shared fairly across full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler staff.
  • Free parking provided onsite with multiple garage options.
  • Department provides comprehensive orientation including facility and unit tours.
