Job Description

Experience an exciting opportunity as an MRI Technologist, providing expert imaging services in a dynamic clinic setting that supports both inpatient and outpatient populations. This 13-week contract position features a weekday PM schedule and offers the chance to work with state-of-the-art technology alongside skilled healthcare professionals.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 1:00pm9:00pm
  • Five 8-hour shifts

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of MRI technologist experience
  • Siemens and Epic system experience preferred
  • Certifications: BLS (AHA only), MRT, and ARRT-MR required
  • Strong ability to communicate procedures and provide reassurance to patients of all ages
  • Able to work independently and maintain composure in high-stress situations
  • Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and infection control standards
  • Willingness to wear appropriate, professional scrubs (any color except inappropriate prints)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality MRI procedures per established protocols, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment
  • Communicate with patients and families to explain exams, alleviate concerns, and promote understanding
  • Ensure all safety measures, including patient screening and compliance with infection control and radiation policies
  • Maintain clean, well-organized work and equipment areas and report any equipment issues for prompt resolution
  • Accurately document imaging records and maintain required documentation for each exam
  • Collaborate with radiologists, engineers, and team members to optimize operational effectiveness
