Schedule/Hours

• 2 x 12-hour shifts
• 2 x 8-hour shifts
• Includes weekend and call rotation
• Must be flexible to accommodate department needs

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program (official education verification required)
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist
• ARRT Radiography registration and ARRT MRI registration required
• Approved BLS certification

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures and related diagnostic imaging under physician order
• Prepare and instruct patients, administering contrast media as needed
• Apply MRI safety principles, manage equipment, and position patients for optimal imaging
• Maintain venous access, practice aseptic techniques, and ensure universal precautions
• Evaluate image quality, retrieve and archive images, and assist physicians during procedures
• Serve as a resource for students and new staff by providing practical instruction
• Utilize radiology information and PACS systems
