A specialized opportunity is available for an experienced multi-modality medical imaging technologist skilled in MRI, CT, and X-Ray technologies. This contract position provides the chance to work with advanced imaging equipment, including a GE 360 1.5T MRI, GE 660 128-slice CT, and GE and Shimadzu portable units, enhancing your expertise in a dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality MRI scans using a GE 360 1.5T MRI machine.
  • Operate the 128-slice CT scanner and portable imaging devices effectively.
  • Maintain patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes.
  • Adapt to shift rotations, including mid-shift hours from 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with potential for alternating between evenings and days as clinical needs arise.

Qualifications and Desired Experience

  • Valid Texas CT technologist license is required (note: processing time for the license is approximately four months if not currently held).
  • Registries in MRI, CT, and X-ray modalities mandatory.
  • Proficiency with GE and Shimadzu imaging systems preferred.
  • Strong commitment to patient care and quality imaging standards.
