Seeking an experienced MRI technologist to join a medical imaging team for a contract position in Antioch, TN. This role involves performing high-quality MRI scans in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring accurate imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.
Location Overview: Antioch, TN, is a vibrant community southeast of Nashville. The area balances the charm of southern living with the convenience of nearby city life.
Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday
- 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Responsibilities:
- Conduct MRI scans according to physician orders and imaging protocols
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and safety
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment, adhering to safety standards and guidelines
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical team for accurate imaging interpretations
- Document procedures and maintain detailed records of imaging work
- Ensure compliance with all health regulations and quality standards
Qualifications:
- Certification in MRI technology
- Proven experience performing MRI imaging with excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient care standards
- Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours
- Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team
