Seeking an experienced MRI technologist to join a medical imaging team for a contract position in Antioch, TN. This role involves performing high-quality MRI scans in a fast-paced healthcare environment, ensuring accurate imaging to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment.

Location Overview: Antioch, TN, is a vibrant community southeast of Nashville. Schedule:

  • Monday through Thursday
  • 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct MRI scans according to physician orders and imaging protocols
  • Prepare patients for procedures and explain the process to ensure comfort and safety
  • Maintain and operate MRI equipment, adhering to safety standards and guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical team for accurate imaging interpretations
  • Document procedures and maintain detailed records of imaging work
  • Ensure compliance with all health regulations and quality standards

Qualifications:

  • Certification in MRI technology
  • Proven experience performing MRI imaging with excellent attention to detail
  • Knowledge of MRI safety protocols and patient care standards
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently during overnight hours
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with patients and healthcare team
