Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current certification in MRI technology (ARRT or equivalent)
  • Proven experience operating MRI equipment and performing imaging procedures
  • Strong understanding of MRI safety protocols and best practices
  • Ability to assess image quality and provide diagnostic-quality scans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Commitment to maintaining patient privacy and adhering to HIPAA guidelines

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety
  • Operate MRI scanners and troubleshoot equipment as needed
  • Review and interpret physician orders and ensure proper imaging protocols are followed
  • Monitor patients during procedures, providing reassurance and information as needed
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate imaging
  • Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere strictly to infection control practices
  • Document procedures and patient information accurately in the electronic medical record system
