Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting patient care in an advanced Mammography Department. This contract opportunity calls for a skilled professional, offering the chance to work in a dynamic setting and contribute your expertise in imaging across multiple departments.

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation
• Shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM (hours may vary by department needs)
• 5x8-hour day shifts
• On-call not required
• Floating to various departments within the main campus is expected

Qualifications:

• Valid California Mammo Tech license and CRT (M) required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT highly preferred
• At least two years of recent mammography experience
• Open to first-time travelers
• Adaptability to work in both screening and diagnostic mammography settings

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography (both 2D and 3D)
• Conduct wire and radar localizations, as well as stereotactic biopsies
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered imaging services
• Manage a high daily caseload (approx. 150 exams per shift, spread across the team)
• Collaborate and float between multiple imaging departments according to need
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards
