Schedule/Hours:

• Contract-based assignment
• Typical shifts align with standard imaging center hours

Key Qualifications:

• Current ARRT certification, with Mammography (M) credential required
• Valid state radiologic technologist license
• Minimum of one year of recent mammography experience in a healthcare setting
• Thorough understanding of ACR standards and MQSA regulations
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient comfort and education
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a clinical team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammograms in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Prepare patients for procedures and explain imaging processes clearly to ensure comfort and cooperation
• Accurately position patients to obtain optimal imaging results while maintaining patient safety and privacy
• Document procedures and clinical findings in electronic health records with accuracy and confidentiality
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot digital mammography equipment, ensuring proper function and readiness
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to facilitate prompt and accurate diagnoses
• Follow all infection control policies, safety guidelines, and quality assurance measures
