Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Current ARRT Radiography certification with Mammography registry
- Active, unrestricted state license in Radiologic Technology
- Minimum one year recent experience in Mammography
- Strong understanding of imaging safety and quality protocols
- Excellent patient care and communication abilities
- Must meet the 75-mile radius rule from permanent address
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammography exams and procedures in accordance with physician orders and regulatory standards
- Prepare and position patients for imaging to ensure comfort and accuracy
- Review images for technical quality before submission
- Maintain detailed and accurate patient records
- Adhere to infection control, safety guidelines, and departmental protocols
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
