Job Description

Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time, contract position (specific shift details will be discussed during the interview process)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current ARRT (R) and (M) certification required
  • Valid state license in radiologic technology
  • Proven experience in performing screening and diagnostic mammograms
  • Familiarity with digital mammography equipment
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills to ensure a compassionate patient experience
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality mammography exams following established protocols and safety standards
  • Prepare and position patients accurately to obtain optimal imaging results
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment in compliance with regulations and best practices
  • Collaborate with radiologists to deliver precise and timely results
  • Educate patients on the procedure and address any concerns or questions they may have
  • Comply with HIPAA guidelines and facility standards for patient confidentiality
  • Keep accurate records and support daily workflow within the imaging center
