Key Qualifications:

• ARRT certification with a current Mammography credential required
• Active, unrestricted state licensure in Radiologic Technology
• Proven experience operating digital mammography equipment
• Demonstrated expertise in performing screening and diagnostic mammograms
• Proficient in positioning patients and obtaining high-quality images
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient privacy

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures
• Review and verify physician orders and patient histories to ensure appropriate imaging
• Operate imaging equipment efficiently and safely to capture diagnostic images
• Maintain careful documentation and accurate record-keeping in electronic medical systems
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians for optimal patient care
• Educate patients on the procedure and address any questions or concerns compassionately
• Maintain cleanliness and quality assurance of imaging suites and equipment
• Remain compliant with evolving regulatory and facility standards
