Schedule:
- Monday to Friday with rotating Saturdays
- Shifts may vary between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm, based on department needs
- 5x8-hour day shifts
Qualifications:
- Active California Mammography Tech license (CRT (M)) required
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) credential highly preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of 2 years experience in mammography
- Expertise in screening and diagnostic mammography, including 2D and 3D
- Experienced with wire and radar localizations and stereotactic biopsies
- Ability to float to various imaging departments within the main campus
- First-time travelers welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms in both 2D and 3D, adhering to safety and quality guidelines
- Complete specialized procedures such as wire localization, radar localization, and stereotactic biopsies as needed
- Float between different departments to support overall imaging services
- Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and supporting staff for optimal patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation for each procedure
- Take part in departmental rotations, including weekend shifts as scheduled
- Manage a daily caseload of approximately 150 studies while maintaining a patient-focused approach
