Job Description

Experienced professionals in imaging and mammography are needed for a dynamic contract opportunity. This role involves working closely with a dedicated Mammography Department, providing exceptional patient care through screening and diagnostic mammography services, including both 2D and 3D imaging, wire and radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, with some Saturday rotation
  • Shifts are typically between 7:30 am to 6:00 pm (hours may vary based on department needs)
  • Day shift, 5x8-hour blocks
  • No on-call requirements
  • Floating to different departments within the main campus as needed

Qualifications:

  • California Mammography Tech license and CRT (M) are required
  • ARRT certification is highly preferred
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years of dedicated mammography experience
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and advanced screening and diagnostic mammograms (2D and 3D)
  • Conduct wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsy procedures
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain high imaging standards
  • Float as needed across departments within the main campus to ensure patient care continuity
  • Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to departmental protocols
