Job Title: Travel Mammography Technologist (Mammo Tech)
Location: Modesto, CA
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours/week | MondayFriday (Day Shift)
Assignment Type: Travel Contract
Position Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Travel Mammography Technologist for an assignment in Modesto, California. This role is ideal for a technologist who values patient-centered care and takes pride in producing high-quality diagnostic images. Youll be working in a well-established imaging setting with a consistent weekday schedule and no weekend requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams following established clinical protocols
Ensure image quality while prioritizing patient comfort and safety
Collect and verify patient history and maintain accurate documentation
Operate digital mammography and 3D tomosynthesis equipment
Follow all radiation safety and infection control guidelines
Communicate effectively with radiologists and healthcare team members
Provide clear, supportive instructions to patients throughout the exam process
Requirements:
ARRT (R) certification required
ARRT (M) certification required
Active California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
Minimum 12 years of recent mammography experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous travel assignment experience
Background in outpatient imaging or womens health centers
Strong communication and patient care skills
Ability to adapt quickly in a new clinical environment
