Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current certification and relevant credentials in mammography imaging
  • Demonstrated experience in performing mammography exams and associated technical procedures
  • Familiarity with current FDA/MQSA requirements for education, continuing experience, and equipment maintenance
  • Proven ability to conduct diagnostic studies safely and effectively
  • Flexibility to adjust work hours in response to department scheduling needs
  • Dependable, cooperative, and accountable attitude in a team-oriented setting
  • Ability to provide age-appropriate care and adhere to established protocols

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Perform a wide range of imaging procedures aligned with department standards, exercising independent judgment as needed
  • Ensure safe and accurate positioning of patients for all mammography procedures
  • Set up and operate imaging equipment to obtain diagnostic-quality results
  • Maintain department guidelines in patient care, imaging techniques, and documentation
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to meet or exceed required compliance standards
  • Cooperate with medical staff and team members to provide prompt, courteous imaging services
  • Maintain equipment according to FDA/MQSA and facility policies to ensure operational readiness
