This contract role offers the opportunity to work on a dedicated team performing advanced imaging procedures at a large medical center. Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation
- Day shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (hours may vary based on department needs)
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
Qualifications:
- Active California Mammography Technologist license and CRT (M) required
- ARRT certification highly preferred
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in mammography
- Experience with screening and diagnostic studies (2D and 3D), wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsy
- Flexibility to float to various departments within the main campus as needed
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, including advanced techniques such as 3D imaging
- Provide accurate localization for needle, wire, and radar guided procedures
- Support stereotactic biopsy procedures and maintain quality imaging standards
- Float between departments within the main campus to support workflow and patient care
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient experience and safety
- Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
