Job Description

Step into a dynamic Mammography environment where your skills make a significant impact on patient care. This contract opportunity offers a varied schedule with day shifts, primarily Monday through Friday, including Saturday rotations. Shifts are between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with some variability based on department needs.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation
  • Day shifts: 7:30 AM 6:00 PM (hours may vary depending on department need)
  • No on-call required
  • Floating to different departments as needed within the main campus

Qualifications:

  • Valid California Mammography Tech license and CRT (M) certification (required)
  • ARRT certification (highly preferred)
  • BLS certification (required)
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a Mammography Technologist
  • Experience in both 2D and 3D mammography, screening, and diagnostic procedures
  • Comfortable with wire and radar localizations, as well as stereotactic biopsies
  • First-time travelers are welcome

Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures (2D & 3D)
  • Accurately conduct wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
  • Float between departments as needed to support patient care on the main campus
  • Work efficiently with a daily caseload averaging approximately 150 exams
  • Maintain professional communication with patients and clinical colleagues
  • Adhere to safety protocols, technical standards, and regulatory requirements
