Job Description

This contract role offers the opportunity to work on a dedicated team performing advanced imaging procedures at a large medical center. Schedule/Hours:

  • Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation
  • Day shifts between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (hours may vary based on department needs)
  • Five 8-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

  • Active California Mammography Technologist license and CRT (M) required
  • ARRT certification highly preferred
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience in mammography
  • Experience with screening and diagnostic studies (2D and 3D), wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsy
  • Flexibility to float to various departments within the main campus as needed
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform screening and diagnostic mammograms, including advanced techniques such as 3D imaging
  • Provide accurate localization for needle, wire, and radar guided procedures
  • Support stereotactic biopsy procedures and maintain quality imaging standards
  • Float between departments within the main campus to support workflow and patient care
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient experience and safety
  • Adhere to all safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements
