Advance your imaging career with a dedicated opportunity in mammography, providing essential diagnostic and screening services within a busy hospital environment. This contract position offers dynamic day shifts with a rotation schedule that spans Monday through Friday and includes periodic Saturdays. Shifts typically run between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, with actual hours shifting based on departmental needs to ensure comprehensive patient coverage.
Schedule Details:
- Monday through Friday with Saturday rotation as needed
- Day shifts between 7:30 AM 6:00 PM (hours may vary)
- No on-call requirement
- Float required to other imaging departments within the main campus
- Daily caseload averages 150 patients
Required Qualifications:
- Active CA Mammography Technologist license and CRT (M)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in mammography
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification highly preferred
- Previous experience with both 2D and 3D mammography, wire localizations, radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
- Open to first-time travelers seeking new clinical settings
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, including advanced localization and biopsy techniques
