Step into a vital imaging role where your expertise in mammography will support comprehensive patient care within a collaborative team environment. This contract opportunity focuses on providing exemplary screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and satisfaction.

Schedule & Hours:

• Monday through Friday with a Saturday rotation as needed
• Shifts range between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., with some flexibility required to meet department needs
• Five 8-hour day shifts per week
• No on-call required
• Floating to different departments within the main campus

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid California Mammo Tech license and CRT (M) required
• ARRT certification highly preferred
• Active BLS certification necessary
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in mammography
• Experience with screening and diagnostic mammography (2D and 3D), wire and radar localizations, and stereotactic biopsies
• Willingness to accept first-time travelers and work in a dynamic, team-based setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality mammography exams, including both screenings and diagnostics
• Collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other technologists to ensure optimal workflow
• Float between imaging departments within the main campus as needed to support patient volume and department operations
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with facility protocols and regulatory requirements
• Deliver compassionate care and clear communication to patients throughout each procedure
