Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification or license in Mammography (ARRT or equivalent)
- Thorough understanding of imaging protocols and safety procedures
- Experience performing specialized breast imaging exams
- Strong communication skills with an empathetic patient approach
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform mammography and specialized breast imaging exams using advanced imaging equipment
- Ensure image quality and accuracy in all procedures for optimal diagnosis
- Deliver patient-centric care, addressing questions and reducing anxiety during exams
- Maintain precise records and documentation as required by regulations
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, radiologists, and other clinical staff
- Practice and enforce all safety and infection control standards in the imaging department
