Job Description

Seeking a dedicated imaging professional with experience in mammography to support diagnostic and screening services in a modern healthcare environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid ARRT Mammography (M) certification required
  • Current ARRT (R) certification
  • Washington state radiologic technologist licensure (or eligibility)
  • Proven experience performing mammograms and working with digital imaging equipment
  • Comfortable with patient positioning and radiation safety procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and commitment to compassionate patient interaction
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols
  • Ensure proper documentation and image quality for accurate diagnosis
  • Maintain thorough and accurate patient records
  • Provide patients with relevant instructions and reassurance, ensuring a positive experience
  • Adhere to regulatory standards, including infection control and radiation safety
  • Assist radiologists and collaborate with other clinical staff as needed
