Seeking an experienced imaging professional skilled in Mammography to perform specialized breast examinations, supporting the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease. In this contract role, youll work with advanced imaging equipment to carry out all required procedures within the department, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and clinical excellence.
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position; specific scheduling to be confirmed during interview process.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in Mammography
- Proven experience operating specialized mammography equipment
- Thorough knowledge of breast anatomy, pathology, and imaging procedures
- Strong technical proficiency in performing mammographic exams
- Excellent patient care and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a clinical team environment
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT preferred)
- Current state licensure as required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality mammography examinations as ordered by providers
- Operate and maintain mammography imaging equipment according to regulations and manufacturers instructions
- Accurately position patients for optimal imaging results while ensuring comfort and safety
- Follow appropriate protocol for diagnostic and screening mammography procedures
- Assist radiologists with diagnostic evaluations and provide relevant clinical information
- Document and report findings in a timely and organized manner
- Maintain compliance with quality assurance and safety standards
- Contribute to an atmosphere of respect, professionalism, and service
