Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct specialized breast imaging exams to support diagnosis and treatment plans for breast disease
  • Operate advanced mammography equipment, ensuring patient safety and image quality
  • Collaborate with radiologists and referring healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient evaluation
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures, patient information, and imaging results
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and sound clinical decision-making throughout each case
  • Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care and educate patients on examination processes
  • Adhere to all safety, quality, and regulatory standards for mammography

Qualifications:

  • Current certification in Radiologic Technology; mammography certification required
  • Demonstrated experience performing a full range of mammographic procedures
  • Knowledge of up-to-date breast imaging techniques and associated patient care protocols
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities with a focus on patient comfort and education
  • Attention to detail in both technical execution and documentation
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and changing patient schedules
